It makes the game more tense in my opinionģ Again, you are understimating twin shadow. Now, thanks to the cast time, you can't do that anymore. I like the fact that they aren't an "oh ♥♥♥♥" button like kurosuna was, where you could insta blind an enemy that spotted you. It can also be used as a normal kunai, but it's WAY better as a trapĢ The granades are what you describe them as. It's a lot stronger than what I initially fought it was. You can also detonate it while killing someone else. They won't notice it until you detonate it. I hope it at least includes the silence upgrade.ġ explosive kunai is really good.

Kage, I think? I'm not sure if it's any different from the original version, so I haven't really tried it. I guess you could consider it to be a poor man's Sakkaku (which can't be used as a distraction unless there's someone around you want to kill). It's thematically cool, but mechanically it's a kunai with less range and no stealth.

Twin Shadow is probably the biggest disappointment. Shadow grenades I like-they're like an improved Kurosuna-though they're a bit unthematic, insofar as grenades aren't particularly ninja-like or sinister shadow sorcery-like. It does have the significant advantage of range over Shinen, but is worse in every other way.
DOES ARAGAMI NIGHTFALL WORK WITH THE PHYSICAL COPY FULL
Getting full use out of them practically demands that somebody discover a corpse, and using them on clustered enemies pretty much guarantees an alerted guard. While I'm very grateful for the Nightfall DLC, and look forward to getting back to it after the bugs are fixed, I must admit so far I'm underwhelmed by the new powers that are one of the DLC's main draws.ĮdIt: Apparently I didn't realise all the mechanics of a couple of these and they're not as bad as I thought.Įxplosive kunai sound cool on paper, but they're bad for stealth and scores.
